After many months with our doors closed and fulfilling your takeaway needs we are finally able to share some exciting news.
Whilst Heaneys will remain closed until further notice we are pleased to announce the new opening of Uisce by Heaneys! We have created a fun, gentle outdoor experience in ‘The Tent’ situated right outside Uisce serving freshly shucked oysters, small plates & beautiful wines. We are really excited to be introducing a taster of where the future lays with Uisce.
We will be making some changes to both Heaneys & Uisce for the foreseeable future that you will notice with our menus. We are essentially a fish, shellfish and meat led restaurant with Tommy spending all his life carefully sourcing quality ingredients to serve to you our guest. Although we will do our best to cater to all allergies as best we can, we are sorry to say for now we will be unable to produce a vegan menu.

When accepting bookings online, in house or over the telephone, we will ask for your credit or debit card details (we do not accept American Express) to secure the reservation. No charges are made to your card to secure the booking, and your details are encrypted and stored securely in line with PCI DSS.
Once we have verified your credit or debit card details we will send you a confirmation, which also outlines our cancellation policy.
All cancellations or alterations require a minimum of 24hours notice by email or telephone. Without such notice, we reserve the discretion to charge a cancellation fee of £20 per person to your card.
You will also be asked for specific details to comply with the track & trace guideline for the safety of our staff and yourselves. Please note that we will only be taking a maximum of 8 persons to one table and you will be allocated a time duration for your visit to ensure a deep cleanse of the area before and after each guest. Do try your best to be on time for your reservation to help us work as best we can within a reduced team.

Best place to eat in Cardiff- Tommy Heaney is a fabulous chef and his team of staff both front of house and waiting are a credit to him! It's affordable luxury at its best.
This is a much needed addition to the Cardiff restaurant scene. An unstuffy environment with Friendly staff. The food was superb (Best Lamb I have eaten in years), with plenty of choice. I will be visiting this restaurant regularly. First Class!
